Environment

Water use permits

Authorization to use water. The type depends on how and why water comes into the project.

  1. 01

    What it is

A water use permit (outorga) is the right to use a water resource, requested from the competent agency. Without it, abstraction, discharge or interference with water cannot go ahead.

  2. 02

    Artesian wells

Groundwater abstraction from a well. The application describes the flow rate, the use and the abstraction point.

  3. 03

    Irrigation

Using water to irrigate crops or green areas. The application states the area, the crop and the expected volume.

  4. 04

    Abstraction and discharge

Abstraction means taking water from a water body. Discharge means returning effluent to it. Both require a permit when the law says so.

Regularization and licensing with technical method.

DCORP handles the environmental process through to the competent agency.
